JJW
I don't think so, I think it would be rather embarrassing for anything except a joke. discreet
At least Daisy Rock are playable. And far less appalling than some of the car-crash basses I've seen on the Bay. In fact I think it would go quite well with my new blonde wig and pink tutu.... er no, wait...
That's what I was thinking. Although not me. Unless I was forced to choose at gun point between one of those and one of those pointy black Gothy things, in which case I'd be wearing the Daisy Rock. Annoying Twit
Looking at the Daisy Rock site, it appears that this bass has been discontinued. Their guitars and basses mostly seem to be only available in spangly finishes now. Which IMHO is a rather odd business decision. Isn't Daisy Rock a sub-brand of Cort? EDIT: They used to be part of Schecter, but have been independent for over ten years now. andytoad
I for one love it. Honestly, I could come out with far less bruises from some of the pubs I play with that. It would terrify the punters!

http://www.daisyrock...rock-candy-bass
Looks like there's just the two bass models now - that one looks like a glittery Ibanez SR wannabe, and this one - a pink glitter P/J thing. I like the colour but it's otherwise not very adventurous. It's a massive shame they discontinued the Stardust Elite: I think that's a great-looking bass - but then I'm lacking a shortscale set-neck & that would fit the bill! Jon. Truckstop
Daisy Rock basses are totally ok to play! Good necks and light but had weird balance on the strap and underwhelming pickups. No more disgusting than relic'd guitars or other novelty shaped instruments. Truckstop

itsmedunc
I mentioned this bass to a young lass who I know who plays bass (as so does her father before her, a mate of mine). Unfortunately it was when I'd had a few at New Year. One thing led to another and through my drunken ramblings she misunderstood what I was saying. I fear I may now be a sexist misogynist barsteward. Amongst other things... I only see her at New Year so hopefully she may have calmed down by 2016. My only saving grace is that her father is what she thinks I am. Thanks for ammo mate.
