Quite interested in this but don't 2010 model Fender Jazz USAs have through body stringing?

I believe they introduced string through on US models in 2008 - I bought my US precision that year & remember it was when they introduced a few new changes, that being one of them.

I'm no expert but I guess it's either a pre-2008 US body or a post-2008 non-US body? Looks like a real nice bass. Love the look of the neck.

I think the re-introduction of through-body stringing was made before that. My 2000 US Jazz Deluxe definitely had it. It's quite hard to find out when the change was made for American Standards, but I seem to remember one source saying it was introduced as far back as the mid-nineties.

Of course there are other US built Jazzes than the Standard..

Is there any chance this is a US Highway 1 model? That would explain the Badass Bridge, thin Nitro finish and non-string thru body.

If it is, they were super basses in their own right

I'm sure it is. Mr/Mrs Aguilar is (was) definitely a Fender employee and I've certainly owned Fender US basses with the same stamp
