PURPOLARIS
Hello all, I'm selling my Ibanez SR905 as I no longer have a use for it. It's got great spec which includes Bartolini pickups and EQ. Looking for £400 with postage extra. OVERVIEW
Sleek, sexy, and sonically versatile—the SR905 bass is at home in the studio and on any stage.
The Ibanez SR905 bass is an incredibly well-crafted and equipped bass for its price. The slim, fast SR5 neck extends through the figured maple body for enhanced sustain. Its rosewood fretboard is fitted with medium frets and has oval abalone markers. The Accu-Cast B25 bridge provides easier string changes, single-screw saddle and height adjustment, and improved stability. For pickups, it sports 2 Bartonlini MK1s which integrate perfectly with the active Bartolini MK1 3-band EQ. It's a bass that will excel in any style of music. FEATURES

SR5 thru-body neck
5-piece maple and bubinga neck construction
Figured maple body
Rosewood fretboard with 24 medium frets and oval abalone markers
Accu-Cast B25 bridge
Bartolini MK1-5 neck pickup
Bartolini MK1-5 bridge pickup
Black chrome hardware with black pickups

Edited January 19, 2015 by PURPOLARIS

PURPOLARIS
Is the scale of this 34 or 35?
It's 35" I believe. It doesn't feel too cumbersome as I'm a short fellow and can play it comfortably.

PURPOLARIS
I stand corrected, I've just measured it and it's 34". I was going by what was said in a review.

PURPOLARIS
Sorry I don't have any scales. It is definitely not on the heavy side though, my SR1305 is a lot heavier.

TRBboy
I know it's subjective, but what's the sound like? Can't find any decent videos of this model on YouTube...... I'd imagine it's pretty bright being all maple? How does the B string sound? Thanks.
PURPOLARIS
It is quite bright, I turn the treble all the way down on it but it does have a wide range of sounds due to the active eq system.
