CyberBass Posted December 29, 2014 Share Posted December 29, 2014 (edited) Having received the combo in the recycling section from Steve, I am really curious about the combo. There is very little on the internet about them other than they were made in japan for Pearl in or around late 70's/ early 80's and are very good copies of Fender amps and combos. I have so far cleaned the cabinet, taken out the speaker which is 15" and in good condition. Tomorrow I will take amp out and give a clean and service if necessary, cabinet is drying out nicely, as it had been in storage for a long while. Will keep you all posted on progress. CyberBass Posted December 30, 2014 Author Share Posted December 30, 2014 Have just checked electrics and all ok, some popping on eq switch but that's it, so hopefully some contact cleaner should sort that. Plugged my bass in and the tone is lovely, nice combo, great depth and tonal/eq variation. Volume is good for a vintage 100 watts. Overall a really nice combo.
