drums1977 Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 For sale my 1966 Jazz Bass in Olympic White with matching headstock. This is the typical transition model, with dots and binding, only manufactured during a few months in 1966. To my knowledge this bass is all original. The finish has faded to a creamy white colour. I took some of the photos with a white sheet of paper next to it for reference of the shade. The back of the neck is naturally worn off from hours of playing. In my opinion this is one of the best vintage basses I have ever played "feel-wise". The neck is straight and the truss rod works fine. The PUs are strong and the tone is great.
