Chrismanbass Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 admit it we've all done it .... okay well maybe not but my question is what tunes do you play purely for fun you don't necessarily have to learn anything from it you may have mastered it long ago but you still love playing it? for me its Rosanna by toto not the most complex of basslines but just good fun https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmOLtTGvsbM Quote

Drax Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Pink Floyd - Young Lust. Not even a big fan of the band, but it's great simple line you can play around with, in your pants Quote

Telebass Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Also, More Than Words, Extreme. Nice to do your own thing on, or really lay back and keep it simple. Play it in F# (detuned a semitone on the record, they play it in G) and try to use absolute minimum hand movement. I have small hands, so it was tough, but got easier! Quote
