I have too many and not enough time to learn how to use them all, so I'm just keeping the Yamaha CS6R module. This sample based (not synthesis) module does all the sounds you'd expect in an orchestra including violins, violas, celli, double basses, trumpets, French horns, trombones, bass trombones, tubas, piccolos, flutes, oboes, English horn, clarinets, bass clarinets, bassoons, contra bassoons, harp, orchestral bells, tubular bells, bell trees, celeste, xylophone, marimba and a percussion battery with over 20 instruments. The unit has 128 voices meaning you can conjure up an entire ensemble from just this unit alone. It's also multi timbral meaning you could plug a MIDI equipped guitar into it and it would take a separate MIDI channel for each string as well as take string bends. It also has two separate MIDI ins and outs meaning potentially 32 assignable channels. It might look small but it carries its own weight against the competition.
