£200

As phase two of my clear out of stuff, I'm putting this classic synth module up for sale. I have too many and not enough time to learn how to use them all, so I'm just keeping the Yamaha CS6R module.

The Roland JV-1080 is one of the most popular digital synthesizers ever to come from Roland and, as you might expect, is a staple of many music studios. Although superceded by the 2080, reviews suggest the 1080 still sounds fatter. Many of the 128 presets are instantly recognisable, it has 64 voices of polyphony and 16 part multi timbral meaning you can plug a MIDI guitar (or bass) into it and have one string per MIDI channel. It's STILL fully capable of holding its own with any recent offerings from other manufacturers.

I'm also including the SR-JV80-04 Vintage Synth expansion card which includes an additional 255 waveforms and 255 patches featuring numerous old analogue instruments and electronic effects. A further three expansion cards can be fitted as well.

The great thing about hardware based solutions is that they never go out of date, regardless of what version of Windows/Pro Tools/Anti Virus software you're running. If you're going to have one synth module in your set up, this is probably the one to have.

Science bit:
No trades...unless you happen to have a Yamaha PLG150-AN plug in board. No? I need the cash then.
First person with the cash gets the item. A 10% non refundable deposit is welcome to remove the item from being advertised.
Asking price excludes shipping but packing will be included so long as specialist packing material isn't required. Collection is preferred from Zone 3 (just inside the South Circular) SE London however. Or I can meet somewhere within the eastern side of Central London during a weekday lunchtime.

This is a brilliant bit of kit for so many uses, and for any bassist thinking about going the bass pedal way, the vintage card has some superb bass pedal sounds including Moog Taurus.......... All you would need is a McMillen 12 step or a set of Roland PK5's.......
I hope you don't mind me mentioning this Kiwi, but there has been a lot of discussion re bass pedals and how to set them up etc on this forum in the last few months.
Good luck with the sale.

Regards, Paul.
