Aero71 Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) For sale: 1982 Fender/Squier JV Precision, with an additional jazz pickup added, brand unknown but sounds awesome. The neck seems not original, but don't know if this is an old fender neck or something else? I know the very first JV basses had "Fender' on the headstock instead of "Squier". There are no stamps or writing on the heel. It's an old neck, but in good shape. Frets are ok, trussrod works. Has a very nice feel. The pots are replaced for CTS ones. Weight is 4,2 kg. Sounds and plays really great. Comes with a gigbag. [s]550 GBP[/s] Now [s]GBP 475[/s] for a straight cash sale [s]Final price drop: GBP 427 !!![/s] I must be crazy.... £399 !!! SOLD Edited February 27, 2015 by Aero71
Paul S Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 The 'Fender' logo on the early JVs was of the 'spaghetti' type, so I guess you are right that it is not the original. Looks like a nice bass, regardless.
Aero71 Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 everything is jv, except the neck, pickup and pots.
cameltoe Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Any idea what happened to the original neck?
