Jonesy64
I have a SVT3 Pro that I don't appear to be able to sell. I want to buy a new turntable and separates. Is there a way to adapt the SVT3Pro to be able to use it as the stereo amp? I think I read somewhere previously that bass/guitar amps are mono so it's a bit of a non-starter but thought I would check in here first before discounting the possibility altogether. Thanks in advance for any advice.
zero9
Get a second one for stereo use
HowieBass
Your best bet is get it back up for sale - nobody on here wants it? You really only need something that's say 25 to 30W per channel for a hi-fi stereo amp and if possible get something that has a dedicated phono input alongside the conventional line level stages (so you don't need to fork out for a separate phono pre-amp unit). Dan Dare
As zero9 says, you'd need another and I doubt it would work that well even if you did. Hard to sell things at the moment.Everyone's paying off the Xmas bills. Try later in the year?
bertbass
Many years ago I used my 2 Marshall Super Bass 100s and 2, 4x12s as a home stereo. If nothing else it was very loud!
Jonesy64
Thanks guys for the quick replies. It was just a thought to try and kill two birds with one stone so to speak. I'll keep advertising the SVT and crack on with sorting out a dedicated system!

rmorris
You should be able to pick up a decent stereo hifi amp for ,say, £50 on Gumtree / Ebay. on selling the SVT3 Pro - guess how quickly you can shift it depends on how much you're asking and condition. Also whether offering to post / parcel it . Good Luck.
Roland Rock
Seriously, get this - it will sound infinitely better than a bass amp, and a total bargain: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/252508-mission-cyrus-one-hifi-power-amp-25wch/page__pid__2649721#entry2649721

bertbass
Strangely enough, I never used headphones. I like to share my music with everyone.

I used to sell shed loads of these back in the day. An award winning integrated amplifier. You'll find it hard to get better for twice the asking price. Hugh971
Using a bass amp as a home hifi amp is a no go IMO. You'd be much better with a decent integrated amp. That Cyrus is a great amp.
