Get a look at this fretless folks.

I've saw the H.K brand before but think they were cheaper models. The finish on this looks fantastic, shape's not to shabby either.

That looks a LOT like a Marleaux Consat bass.

Just had a look at the spec - not bad at all. Kent Armstrong pickups, Wilkinson hardware, it even comes with a set of DR Hi-Beams on.

Pretty sure I remember a bunch of nice-looking Marleaux knockoffs on Ebay 5 or 6 years back - that would've been around the same time the German HK brand started turning up, so this is likely one of that batch.

Some of their other basses were quite interesting too - seem to remember a double-neck Steinberger copy.

I can't see why it appears to be fitted with a adjustable nut - when it has a zero fret? Pointless!

.....and a zero fret on a fretless isn't exactly ideal for setting it up...

[/quote]True - I wouldn't like the height of a fret there on mine, the strings practically start at zero - on the fingerboard B)

Definitely a zero fret if you zoom in. Maybe it's been defretted? Either way an adjustable nut is a bit pointless with a zero fret (or vice versa)
