I tried a spear bass the other day, not that one, a nice single cut one, it was actually pretty nice!

I tried one of those at Music Live last year. A little clunky but not at all bad for the price, and AFAIK it's the only production singlecut available. I still want to try the CT-esque hooked double cut, but haven't seen one anywhere (Spear had sold all their stock at Music Live by the time I made it to their stand).
