A Favour...

Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could possibly etch a circuit board for me? I've agreed to build a pedal for a mate, and the only thing I can't do is etch the circuit board. I have the circuit layout, so if anyone would be kind enough to do this, for me, I would be very grateful!!

Thanks in advance.

Or drop a PM to Dave Hall (DHA) and ask where he gets his etched?
We use pro companies and use double-sided TPH and solder masks, not cheap and will cost more for the first one as the set up costs are high.

Why use a PCB for a one off? Veroboard is great for one offs.

Well I guess i've never used it so thought a nice neat PCB would be the best option. How do I make it with veroboard?

The trick is to remember that depending on how you turn the board over to inspect your work everything in the circuit is upside down or reversed :)

I sent you a PM about it a few days ago with some possible ways to achieve what you need. I gather you haven't received it.

If you type "Veroboard" in Google, the first link returned tells you how veroboards/stripboards works.
What's the pedal? There are lovely people all over the net who make veroboard layouts for the classics available. I vero all of mine, and it's much easier than using a PCB (plus no need for weird chemicals in the bathroom!).
It's a Fuzz Factory clone.

I think I'm just going to buy a kit - That way I get all the right components and everything hassle free, and just gotta put the bugger together! :) I'm gonna have to put a 9v power jack on it too.
