After 50 years I can't really say there's anything that bothers me about gigging. There will always be venues that are more difficult than others, but that's part of the job. Often I drive the singer/guitarist to and from gigs, but the times when I don`t, I really like how peaceful the world seems to be at that time - especially after the racket we`ve just made. Quote
Telebass Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 On the longer drives, say back from somewhere in Cornwall, then even on the dual carriageway, I'll set the cruise to 60 and just drift home listening to the BBC World Service. No rush, very peaceful, next to zero traffic. I'm missing things like this. I MUST restart my gigging life! Not to mention needing the money... Quote
