It has the original wanabee Fender script log so according to the Tokai Registry it is 1982 or earlier. It has a non original matt black finish on the body which is kind of funky (in a good way). It has a High Mass Gotoh bridge. If you are looking for a pristine example of the proper Fender copies then this is not it. If you are looking for a good solid working Jazz with a P pickup in it then here it is. I will sort pics out later but I am doing this inbetween other stuff. In one of my bands the main guitarist has a Fender Strat custom shop jobbie that set him back a fair few quid. The other has a pair of 80s Tokai strats, and the first one always eyes up the second's guitars enviously. Someone should buy this! But not me - a shade too heavy.
