fretmeister
What happened to Shuffler? I was looking forward to that!
discreet
What happened to Groovesonix? I was listening to that!
kevin_lindsay
Shuffler didn't work out. The Groovesonix outfit is still operating. Trioniq is more groove-based, original music.
discreet
Well... I'll give anything a listen. Once. PT seems to have multiple projects on the go... probably a good idea. I've decided to spread myself a bit thinner this year, too. However I'm not expecting to achieve PT's level of success in a hurry. I wasn't expecting to write a sentence with the words 'myself' and 'thinner' in it, either. Edited January 14, 2015 by discreet
BassAgent
It's still not on iTunes, unfortunately. I'm very curious as well, I saw some teaser videos on Facebook that sounded really promising.

Don't want to go by one clip, but I'm not sure it's quite my thing. Isn't that the bloke who plays guitar in Groovesonix?
BassAgent
Actually, it's the bloke who plays guitar in Groovesonix ánd in Jamiroquai, he's called Rob Harris and he's quite the guitar player IMO I especially dig the last video, where you can see Iwan (a Dutchman btw) playing some heavy clavinet stuff. BassAgent
I got it a few days ago, and really liking it so far. Paul sounds excellent, the only thing maybe is that the style is a bit undefinable. There's Jamiroquai-esque disco, a very cool 6/8 soul song, Brazilian, soulpop and a dance-ish tune with a lot of synth bass sounds on it. But it has some really nice bass lines on it and the guest musicians are great. I especially like Battlefield and Can You Feel What's Going On.
