It's effectively a new instrument but with a bit of 'heritage' to it...it was the first G1 built using Carbon fibre over Cedar process. It was re-build to serve as a demonstrator for a short period. It would certainly be a cost effective way of getting hold of a Gus instrument. I'd be looking for £1750.00 for the guitar...a new build would start at £4000 to give you a comparison. This guitar has a new fingerboard, tube frame, pickups and electrics. The only original hardware parts are the bridge and machineheads. It's wired with an 8 way switching system, that gives 4 single coil and 4 humbucker sounds, including the 2 pairs running in series together, which produces a beautifully fat, powerful sound. mxm Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Amazing looking instrument, if only I could justify it - but my guitar playing is pretty lousy ! Good luck with sale.
sblueplanet Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Far out! Does it come with its own spaceship?
