discreet
Didn't think you'd let this one go, Karl! Now, if it had a nice mint pickguard fitted... Actually it looks a very light relic, for a Limelight. Edited January 20, 2015 by discreet

Brams77
What a lovely looking bass!!, I never liked the sea foam much... but with a matching headstock and a tort guard I'm totally loving it!!
Marc S
I just love the look of Marks Limelight basses This one looks the bees knees too Something about that colour, reliced, and with the tort scratchplate... .... stunning Sadly, I really don't need another Jazz Or I'd be severely tempted by this beauty I know you prefer maple fretboards, but it sounds like you love this bass Are you really sure you want to part with it? Honestly, I'd think twice.... Anyhow, if you're sure - GLWTS .... and get another Limelight - with maple

It'll be the last thing to go as I use it for EVERYTHING. It plays like a total dream and always gets compliments :-)
three
I foolishly put mine up for sale around a month ago - I'm moving and thought I'd reduce the bulk, plus I play short scale most of the time. A stupid idea and I returned to my senses - in some measure as a result of posts and PMs on here. I played the L this morning and maintain its the best Fender type bass I've owned (and that's loads with some very expensive super boutiques in there). Don't be fooled by some extremely reasonable prices! And bump...looking forward to seeing a burgundy P with maple neck on here.

Or maybe someone else would buy the neck from you? I can't believe just how good Limelights are.... Edited January 22, 2015 by Marc S

Dazed
Another fan here. I was lucky I guess, I bought one that had been specced by someone else, turns out it was probably what I should have chosen if I had custom ordered myself but very unlikely I would've picked a p body. I think the maple jazz neck is a perfect combo for a precision. If any of you are in the north west you're welcome me to try it out. ( but it won't be leaving anytime soon ) GLWTS Karl. They dont seem to stick around long.
chrisanthony1211
There's a couple of sea foam / surf jazz's on basschat at the moment, and I still can't figure out if I absolutely love it or hate the colour... :-/ It's not a colour I would ever have chosen, but it appears to be growing on me... cameltoe
Sea Foam Green does not look right on a P. It is the law.
Too true!! It's too dark. Surf green on the other hand, or Daphne Blue for that matter, look great! I am such a fan of those colours, but recently I've started to worry I'll look like i'm in a Blink182 tribute band if I buy one. Hell yeah. Limelight me up! LemonCello
Karl, I'm loving my '63 P Limelight in BG heavy relic. Acoustically, it is the most resonant bass I've ever played, seriously resonant in fact! Mark's work is top banana, pity I don't get on with Jazz necks or I'd have this off you! discreet
Burgundy P, Maple boarded jazz neck.
What colour pickguard are you thinking of with that, Karl?
He will then put this one up for sale at £800
I'm guessing ...a little more than that.
