Horizontalste Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015
That's a beauty! I like my sunburst, but a white one would be cool! Si
It's very cool, the board is almost black. Only minor tweeking to get it playable too. Quote
mike257 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Watching this with interest as after never really feeling the need before, I've recently found myself on lots of key change filled dep gigs and having lots of "so that's why people play fivers" moments. Reluctant to move on either of my fours for now so a budget option is very much of interest! Quote
Kiwi Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 A Toby Pro 5 or Status Groove 5 would be my suggestions. The electrics in the Toby might benefit from an upgrade but both are very well made. Quote
charic Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I think at that budget maybe a second hand Yamaha TRBX 505 should fall into budget, especially if you're not a fan of the look of the BB range Quote
jassbass Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Any one tried a squire modified p bass 5ers? Quote
Painy Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015
Any one tried a squire modified p bass 5ers?
Tried one out at PMT on Saturday and it really was excellent and not just for the price. Really really good necks on them - high gloss finish but if that's not your preference its nothing a bit of wire wool wouldn't fix Quote
tauzero Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Anyone mentioned the Peavey Grind yet? If not, I will. Quote
