slab66 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 (edited) Always wanted to play a slab jazz. So I made one. Epic!! The body was a two piece 45mm thick which I finished in oil. The neck was a Mighty Mite ebanol fretless. The pups were custom over winds clear dipped. I put on a Babicz Full Contact bridge which I had lying around. I also used a brass nut and strung with flats. Loving it. Sounds massive with bone crunching woody lows and zingy highs. Can't put this bad boy down. Its a keeper for sure. Conan Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 In my mind's eye it looks like an Aerodyne but without the binding... Quote
Annoying Twit Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) In my mind's ear I'm hearing him play the baseline from the Hunters and Collectors song 'The Slab'. Or is it 'Come up to the lab, and see what's on the slab'. Edited January 22, 2015 by Annoying Twit Quote
