Slather, slather, drool drool......... me/ looks at Dans Powersoft 2004 in actual GAS pain.

My Rack is now :

Ampeg SVP-PRO
TC Electronic 1140 - filling a spare rack space as a backup pre
ElectroVoice XEQ-3 Active crossover
Perreaux 5000B Power amp (2 x 500w) @ 4 Ohms

I used to use a DigiTech Studio 400 in it as well but these days I love having a straight tube pre sound, nothing else.

You must be tall to stomp on those pedals :)

The switcher unit that,s at the top of the rack just below the pedals does the switching, all I have to do is select a patch from the pedal board onstage, It,s like using a multi effect unit but using my pedals as the effects.
The pedal board lets me program what effect chains i want so I can switch in multiple effects in and out with a single step.

I,ve got a boss comp/limiter in the chain.
The widget over the back on the left is a palmer signal splitter to send a dry signal to svt1 and another thru the pedal chain to svt2
Ohh hang on now I geddit!! the clark compressor, 14cfm of pneumatic porn!!

It is pretty much up to whatever you want to do as far as applications such as running air tools and even car spraying are concerned, I mainly use it for air drills, riveter bead blaster and nail guns for work on flightcases and pedalboards etc, it,s not actually a full on commercial job and I think my local tyre centre would probably kill it in a year but it is as good a home workshop one as you would ever need.

I am a huge believer in lights, knobs and switches! And that rig has just made my week! So what's in there Finn? (other than the lights themselves). Very cool!

Thanks mate! ;o) I really love using it. There's just stonking amounts of pure clear power available.. I'd never use all of it, but it's nice to know if I need another cab for backline, it will never have to struggle! lol The thought of 2 big efficient powerful cabs behind me fills me with joy and a fuzzy sensation!

6U of rack taken up by 2U of Behringer V-amp Pro and 3U of "Hollywood" poweramp, which leaves 1U spare. Time to get me some lights, perhaps...

Ground control build update.
Well I,ve wired it all up as it says in the manual, you can see the back of the switcher unit and all My luvverly wiring is now in place, all I have to do is program it,
It is becoming clear that it is going to take longer to do that, than it did to build it.
