fretmeister
Saw these on facebook. http://www.thomann.de/gb/seymour_duncan_studio_bass_compressor.htm As a compression junkie I'll probably end up with one.

fretmeister
I kind of view most compression pedals as a Dynacomp with extras. Most pedals I've had (rather than racks) haven't had an input gain or threshold or release control and I didn't like the MXR Bass Compressor at all, and that had loads more. My favourite sub £200 compressor pedal is still the Marshall ED-1. It's just great.

uncle psychosis
It might have a variable threshold thats adjusted by a trimpot inside. Internal "set and forget" features like that are fairly common on small pedal compressors.
fretmeister
I was thinking about the Wampler Ego or the EQD The Warden - they both have very good reviews on Ovnilab, but I might wait to see about the Seymour Duncan.
