PRICEDROP! NOW £500!!!

NOW SOLD!

Hi all!

Up for grabs is my 2004 US Fender Precision with upgrades! Few marks on the body but in great condition!

I got this Bass here from fellow bass chatter Loz a few months ago,
(you can read the original post here:)

http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry2584203

The Villex pickups definitely give the bass a more modern sound and the alternate tone control (mid sweep) makes it very versatile...

Comes with original Fender hardcase and all the bits and bobs, also got 2 extra scratch plates (tort and white) which are included in the sale.

Tradewise I am currently looking for a light weight head (Markbass Big Bang, Little Mark 3, Little Mark Tube, Aguilar Tonehammer 500) + Cash. Would also consider PX/trade for a Markbass TTE500...

Bass is located in East London (Docklands)... I can post the bass at buyers expense but would prefer collection or meet up in the City... :)

The P/J pickup arrangement is great
Nice looking bass, esp with the maple neck :)

GLWTS - shouldn't be around long at that price

Being the previous owner, yes, still passive, though an amazing variety of tones can be had from this bass. I used it when depping as it literally covered the whole set without any amp-tweaking or bass changing.

Can't believe this hasn't been snapped up yet!

Me neither! :o
Great price, for a great looking bass
Again, just to underline the pickup sound
Although I've not heard this particular bass itself, the PJ arrangement is really flexible

BTW. Enrico or Lozz196 could answer this
But is the neck a more modern P profile? - i.e. slimmer "C" shaped?

I'm GASsing for a Limelight atm, but at this price, a maple necked P with P/J pickups is really tempting.....

@Marc S

I believe the neck dimension and feel on this are more identical to a stingray neck (41mm at the nut I believe) definitely has more of a D shape...
