TolerancEJ
The Ibanez Adam Nitti Signature (ANB1006) impressed me the most and it looks awesome but the $6,999 retail price puts it way out of my range. Adam Nitti mentioned on Facebook that there will eventually be a budget model. http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/u_eb_page15.php?year=2015&cat_id=2&series_id=64&data_id=147&color=CL01 There are also 2 sweet looking 6-string P/J configured Soundgears in the lineup. http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/u_eb_page15.php?year=2015&cat_id=2&series_id=51&data_id=78&color=CL01 http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/u_eb_page15.php?year=2015&cat_id=2&series_id=51&data_id=73&color=CL01 Not to mention even a nice GSR model. http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/u_eb_page15.php?year=2015&cat_id=2&series_id=55&data_id=131&color=CL02 Edited January 28, 2015 by TolerancEJ
patrikmarky
Anyone know of a retailer that will send one of those atk 815 over here ..seems that model is not going to be available over here for the foreseeable future and I have gas for one ... Roland Rock
I always thought that the ATK was my favourite Ibanez bass - that has now changed since I've seen the Talman. Now all we need is a black/BWB/maple five string version
That brownburst with the Nordys... disgustingly appealing.
patrikmarky
Really fancy the Amber 805 or the 806 ... Ever got on with the 4 string because of the slim neck ..tried a fiver and six in pmt , my opinions changed ...
AndyTravis
No talman basses, no black Eagles. Real shame.
Marvin
Pretty much. I've just been comparing the US and Uk Ibanez sites and once again we seem to lose out. Regards the Talman. More colours in the US, only black and burst here. And in the US there is the Talman 300 model which has a double J pickup at the bridge. I was going to maybe save up to get one of the higher end SR basses but as they only have the wood finishes available in Europe I've gone for something completely different and not Ibanez.
Once again! It's not just basses, either - there's a much smaller range of hardware and other bass-related periphery stuff like paint, tools, pickguards, on and on it goes. Whenever I search eBay for something - a shirt, a wig, a girdle, whatever - the ones that I like are inevitably Stateside. Yes I know, why don't I go and live in Russia if I like it so much, yadda. See you in Russia Edited February 21, 2015 by Marvin
philw
The Talman bass has arrived at Music Productiv (a German dealer if you're not familiar) at a ridiculously inexpensive £147. It's not available in any of the nice colours though - just black and 'boreburst'. So near but so far. http://www.musik-produktiv.co.uk/ibanez-talman-tmb100-bk.html P
Marvin
At that price it doesn't even get to free shipping
philw
Sam Ash in the US have the Talman in the full set of colours. The TMB 300 is $299. I'd be on the phone now if it had a maple fingerboard. http://www.samash.com/tmb300-talman-bass-guitar-itmb300-p P
1970
so the eagle will be import only?
