TRBboy Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Hey folks! Just wondered if anyone knows of a listing of bass teachers anywhere? Can't seem to see one on BC, although I could have missed it.... I'm possibly looking for a teacher in the West Midlands. What I really want to understand is more about how some of the R&B and Gospel players construct their bass lines and go about improvisation and fills/runs. Quite niche, but I just need someone who 'gets' what I'm trying to achieve. I'm obviously missing something..... all of the 'cool' notes seem to evade me! I'm not sure that any of the teachers local to me can help with this. Thanks for your help folks. Quote
