Adrian made a Video of my Bass. I got the bass in feb 21, but the video came a week ago. The luminlays are green of cporse and not as mentioned blue. I've changed the Strings to Adrians Nickel Rounds, wich i like much better on that bass.

I hope you got a discount as it was used :D

I thought my P Bass journey was coming to an end and I made the mistake of plugging in 32" P bass into the Google machine and this popped up:

Who can educate me on this bass? Thanks!

Never tried 32". But I've used many a short scale and feel....well, that they're TOO short. But I do like the idea of maybe gaining a bit more dexterity with a 32" scale. If that bass was sunburst and 32" they would have my money!

I keep coming back to this one to ogle. Plus the 32” Jake L 5P on the Public Peace shop. That is sexy AF.

32” is my favourite scale length. And the longest I have in my arsenal now :)

Wow, just found the joys of the Public Peace site and it's custom configurator tab. I think this will be next bass.

It ticks all the boxes,

-32" scale

-P bass

-3 colour NITRO sunburst.

-Rosewood fretboard.

A dangerous place. 😂

I'm glad I got my Elwood when I did. The prices keep going up. That's no bad thing imo, they're worth the money (although I'd try to get a production model, custom orders seem to really add up fast).

I've also found Adrian great to deal with to be honest. I bought my bass from a dealer, and contacted public peace about ordering a different pickguard - got a reply from Adrian himself pretty much straight away and he was really helpful.

I personally attribute difficulties others have had mostly to the language barrier.

One day, I will come into some money, and order a 32" 5 string.

Lollipop tuners - nice. Opting for the 34" scale I see.

Very pretty that.

The only thing I find visually challenging about the Jake C is the rounded off end of the pickguard by the jack socket; my eye expects to see a point there.

Its actually going to be 32" scale. Changed that. Yes, hipshot ultra lights.

All my other basses are rosewood and sunburst so my wife should be non the wiser!

Just had a look at the site again and noticed the Jake TB, looks very interesting.  Does anyone have one?  I can't seem to get the configurator to work for this model type, which to be fair is probably a blessing in disguise as I'd be pretty tempted to order one.

Its just the Jake with thunderbird pickups isn't it - doesn't the normal Jake configurator not work for you?
