Some lovely basses coming from Adrian right now...

Tempted by one of those Valentine Mensingers, if he can build me one of those that's 26.5 neckthrough with 7 strings (it's a guitar) I'd be set for life. But I'd love another bass from him though.

Nice Solospots with an Elwood L during a Concert @ 09:50 Min and 25:05 Min. I like the Sound...

Think I'll post my thread around the same time as Coco does, I want to get a bit more playing time in it.

I'm amazed at the weight though. It's really light (Lightest bass I own thus far (Even lighter than my Geddy Lee!) but that's what the chambered body is for,
sounds awesome with the Hussal's though. Can't wait to try it at practice on Monday!

Hi there all,

I am back from Adrains Showroom in Aldenhoven and I've been ordered to say kind Regards from Adrian to all of you. Adrian feels very happy that his/teir Basses are so successful in the UK too. We've had a nice Afternoon. Adrian is such a kind and funny Guy. It feels like you're talking to a Friend. We've had a Coffee ant talked about this and that and of Course I've tested a few Basses. To be honest, I was tempted by the "White Rabbit" Basses wich look so awesome in Real. Absolutely stunning. There is a big Party in Adrians House on 18th of Juni, with lots of Live Music, Workshops, Barbecue and so on. So feel free to come.

Some Impressions....

Bass Heaven is here...

...and you enter the Showroom. ( I let the Pics talk now...)

Two Testobjects...

...but after I played some Basses I have felt, that an Alder/Rosewood 5-String would be a good Addition to my Ash/Maple Lakland 55-02 and so I went with the blue One. I guess it is not a real LBP it is more vivid, and a bit darker I guess, but I like it, so what? Just came back from a Rehearsal and what should I say.... It is a great Bass. But I will change the Knobs as ever to some black Jazz Bass Knobs, wich are better readable.

I'm about ready to order - I just need to man-up and commit to a couple of tweaks in the spec.

I CAN'T TAKE THE PRESSURE!

What are you going for? I take it your white one sold? (I didn't see if you mentioned it in the thread or not!)

Yep, it's in-transit to its new owner.

I'm trying to be adventurous with the new spec, but I know what I like so the apple might not fall far from the tree. We'll see.

I'm going for a custom Speesy next I think,

Mensingers are the same builder right?
Yes, Mensiger builds all the Maruszczyk Basses and Guitars. I've tested a Mensinger Pike 5-String with Bassculture Pickups and a Noll Preamp/EQ. Phantastic Neck, phantastic Bass. Here in the Picture the 3rd from left.

This One....

Amazing Bass. Oh Man, but I bought another One....two Days ago.... but there is Birthday in April

Trying to think what I'd change about my Jake (which would cause me to order another), and I really can't think of anything.
Perhaps I'd specify a Hipshot bridge instead of the stock one, but it's not a big deal, certainly not worth a new build lol. In fact i wonder how the screw spacing of the stock bridge compares to Hipshot replacements?!

Awesome bass :)

This is one of my absolute favourite sounding pedals! Haven't really seen anything like it before, to be fair there aen't many frogs like it on their site either.

Mine is home. Far exceeding my expectations to be honest. It's an absolute monster! Plays like a dream. Looks incredible, even if the wife doesn't understand why it has a reversed headstock. Never been happier, just can't wait for practice now. Roll on Monday!

HaHaaa, hey Guys,

just found this Video, where Adrian presents the Cazpar 5. At the End, the Song from 6:00 Min. So funny, Adrians Performance as well as he is a phenomenal Musician.

How can I embed a Video here?

I'm hearing a lot about this manufacturer on BC, but I don't personally know anyone who has one.
I assume that as there are 23 pages devoted to them that they are the real deal?
I have to say their website is littered with eye candy at good prices.
There are three or four I would have a hard time choosing between.
Someone please tell me it's too good to be true

I've been banging on about them to the point where I've probably sounded a bit obsessed.

I feel a bit better now a few people have them - at least I know I haven't been imagining it. :-)

I actually based my general idea after your sunburst one! But still, the neck profile is shaped for my liking, which is great!

Well, I have made my mind and I'm about to order one.

Only doubt I have now is if I should go for custom neck shape/dimensions or not?
I was thinking of having it made to my Geddy Lee neck speck, which I love, but not sure if it will be worth the extra cash.

How does the Maruszczyk neck compares to a regular Fender Jazz or the Geddy Lee, please?

I have used my Lakland BG almost exclusively to gig for the last 5 years never found anything that came close no matter what i tried , have to say bought one of these as stock off the website so good not used the Lakland since and have just bought WOT's White Jake as well.

These are amazing basses at the price point quality of build, attention to detail and the hardware is superb to get this quality elsewhere i suggest you would pay a substantially higher price.

i'm aware everything is subjective but i'd be suprised if anyone ordering one of these basses either stock or as a custom build was disapointed

Cheers Steve

Ask Adrian.

My first Maruszczyk was pretty stock, except for the neck, which I specified the dimensions of (wider and thicker than stock) and lacquered. I don't think it was that much more expensive than stock and probably just because of the lacquer... Ask him, you may be pleasantly surprised.
