I would imagine they have probably standardised them now as they have the web page configuration tool though. My Maruszczyks have been great and have consigned my 4003s to being merely decorative. In other news, I’ve been toying with swapping the necks of my Elwood Ls over for a while. Today I thought I’d check the hole alignment. Yeah, that’s not happening, they are not the same. I shouldn’t be surprised, Adrian has said in the past that (at least back then) that each body and neck are made for each other. Hmm, other GAS reducing tactics must be employed methinks. yes indeed , i can confirm that each body and neck are STILL made for each other from scratch. No "assembling" going on. Still 100% made at Mensinger Factory. For example you cannot really fit a gloss neck with a neck pocket that has been cut / fit for a satin body and vice versa.... I'm not sure - I seem to recall this thread started me on my Maruszczyk journey, so I'm grateful for it. It it still bugging you four years later? 😄 Edited March 4, 2019 by wateroftyne

Chris2112
Whilst I must say that not all of their basses are for me (although I do really like the Sputnik), their configurator technology is great. It's a world class programme so far as I can see and the fact it is such a topic of conversation both here and on Talkbass proves it's worth. It's a great way of getting people to share builds and ideas and press on to make orders. Carvin/Kiesel should really get something like this on the go too. I'm surprised given Kiesel's 'ticky box custom' buisness model that they haven't already invested in a really great configurator tool like this. Aidan63
Fender have a configurator as well now, not as many options as Adrian, but at least I could now order a fairly stock Daphne Blue Jazz with a maple board and choice of pickups if I had $1800 to spare - think I know where I'd rather spend that sort of money if I had it

Sibob
I do always like maxing out the options, this (with a leather gigbag) would cost you €4449 Si

edstraker123
Me too - I'd sell it and buy a Headless Frog, a Shuker, an ACG and an Alpher and spend the rest on lessons so I could play them ! 😀

Possibly a better made bass? Possibly should cost more? But £7k more!?!? Pass me the (two or three) Maruszczyk’s (or Sandberg, Mayones, AGC, Overwater, Dingwall, Warwick, Sadowsky etc) instead please!!! 🤔😀
