TC Electronic BG250 120 with extension cab (8 ohm)

Can anyone fill in my gaps of ignorance please.

I am thinking about buying a BG250. I demoed a 120 and loved it but it was sadly overshadowed by a Mark Bass combo that I absolutely loved too but had to discount due to it not having a headphone socket. :-(

Anyway I was musing that as the BG250 208 has the option for an 8 ohm extension and whether I could wire up a 1/4 inch jack and ts cable off the BG250 120 speaker and connect in parrell an 8ohm 4x10 celestion cab that I have. I am hoping that the 120 speaker is also 8 ohm thus giving me a 4 ohm loading that the BG250 can cope with.

Not as big a sound to the Mark Bass but quite a setup, unless I got my sums wrong and all I am going to do if blow the amp or be running too many speakers off too little wattage.

I am sure that someone can put me straight. :-)
