Good evening, all...
Here is my own, personal, view of the compositions presented in the monthly BC Composition Challenge, in randomly chosen order. I hope that at least some will be inspired to give the works a listen, and perhaps vote for their favourite. All the pieces can be heard here...

An up-tempo flourish on the drums introduce a very low bass, incisive rhythm guitars and a riff melody, setting the scene for a vocal line, singing with confidence about the 'bunny' in the title. Totally apt lyrics, with no need of the artifices gleaned from a rhyming dictionnary. A percussive refrain, enjoying the harmonies of multiple voices, punctuates the piece, and lead us into the second verse, this time agremented by the harmony voices. The refrain is back, with its broken, syncopated beat, giving way to a long series of vocal incitations, and another verse. As we advance into the song, a multitude of small variations keeps the freshness; we feel no lassitude from repetition. We exit with a final refrain, again, with variants, and go out on a modest display of pyrotechnics from the drums and a defiant last chord.
Here is a text worthy of interest, well written and executed, entirely suited to the picture. The piece oozes confidence, both in the vocals and the instruments. The use of several vocal timbres gives depth to the singing, and keeps the interest high. A classic structure and arrangement keep the listener on safe ground so as to better concentrate on the essential, ie: the lyrics. Nothing is wasted, everything serves a purpose, and serves it well. An excellent composition. Well done to all involved; an enjoyable listen which fulfills amply the remit.
