drTStingray
My two band EQ Musicman basses - Neptune blue really pops in bright light. The Classic Sabre has a mahogany body.
BassAgent
I have this at home to review for a Dutch bass magazine. Has some flaws in the details (finish etc) but otherwise a pretty decent bass...

SurroundedByManatees
My 2 for now:) A 79 sabre and a classic model stingray. The sabre is strung with Fender flats which makes the character really come out, especially with 2 pickups engaged. The brand new classic just arrived yesterday. Ive had it set up to my likings (nut needed to be leveled down) and it really plays great. Though I didnt have the chance to plug it in yet. My practice rig is now stored (after a small gig last weekend) at our bands rehearsel space, and I wont be able to play this beauty plugged before next monday😥 Edited September 9, 2018 by SurroundedByManatees
RedVee
Nice basses!.........Why did you remove the mutes from the Classic? Edited September 4, 2018 by RedVee

Thank you:) They are there. The picture appears to be a bit dark, my apologies. I tried to put them in an angle so that the classics neck wouldnt reflect to much😁

Is that a flame neck, it looks different to my birdseye Classic neck but looks really good.
SurroundedByManatees
Yes, flamed maple. Bidseye can look really great too.
Deedee
My pair of Sterlings. I’m toying with the idea of switching the necks around. Not only am I a sucker for black and maple, I also love rosewood and natural 😍

The ash body and rosewood neck was an absolute Powerhouse, though that may just have been a 'special tree' combination thing rather than 'tone woods' thing...
Deedee
Before and after. Both still sound and play great but just look a whole lot better (to my mind anyway) 😁
SurroundedByManatees
Especially the natural with rosewood neck has a improved look to my taste

Deedee
I think it’s all about that contrast between the body and neck
RedVee
I think maple on both looks the best, especially on the Natural.
