For me it’s white pickup with black guard and black pickup with pearloid guard for the contrast.

Yeah possibly mate, when I changed from Bart's to Nordys in one of my Laklands there was an extra & I did exactly that.

 

Is it a MM pickup or aftermarket?

An original MM - bought from a guy in Spain who’d changed to a Nordstrand set up.

 

had a crap day for repairs - bought a Gotoh 201b for my yamaha bb1500a and the previous owner must’ve had acid for sweat as the 2 screws near E&A have sheared so I’m walking away.

 

Frustratingly, both snapped under the surface too,

Absolutely no idea, I took them off as soon as I got the bass as they felt and sounded horrible lol
