budget bassist Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 (edited) Sweet, that lavender ray is interesting I also saw an albert lee with a flamed maple top in pink burst or something like that in my local clown control before it closed down, i'm not one for pink finishes but my god it looked amazing! EDIT: i think it may have been one of these Edited August 13, 2008 by budget bassist Quote

john_the_bass Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 (edited) The problem with 'rays is they're a bit like sh*t in a field. I still like 'em though... my 2002 'ray: *makes mental note to clean the fingerboard!* and more here Edited August 13, 2008 by john_the_bass Quote

budget bassist Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 Haha that was an analogy i hadn't heard before... i think he meant they're a bit common... and it that's not what he meant then f*** knows! Quote
Kev Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 not as common as fenders or their copies! id like to hope my ray is the only one like it, the blue dawn finish is pretty damn rare anyways, so im fairly confident mine is the only one with a status graphite neck Quote

I think they're all as good as each other really. Edited August 13, 2008 by budget bassist Quote
