No, as i said, the headstock is lacquered and the neck is not. I'm not sure about the one with the lacquered neck, sounds a bit odd to me. If it was wear, it definitely would not form a perfectly straight line!!

'fraid not. I'm over t'other side, Broomhill way and I dont get out much (work, kids, work, work etc).

Thanks but looking to move (I think) the Dargie, the Fretless and the Natural 2 Band 8 rays are too many at the moment.

Just thinking of spread betting the collection a little better, I seem to go through periods of amassing lots of one instrument, Overwaters, Precisions, Rics and now Rays and after all I keep telling the wife its a pension not a collection................
