As inspired by Seashell's anniversary thread.
I'll start with my Crafter. I still have it, immaculately preserved, and will never get rid of it. This is a photo taken several years ago with a rather crap camera, and I'm posting it on purpose - taking a new one with my all-singing, all-dancing DSLR would ruin the feel of this thread. :D

Edit: and yes, the photo contains a selfie as well, if you look carefully ;)

Apart from a couple of photos of my second bass, taken in 1989, most of the photos I've taken of my gear has been in the last 5 years or so.
I have no photos of stuff in the intervening 20 years.

Here is mine a Vintage pre wilkinson i named Laura. This was the explanation of the name from my very first basschat introduction post.
"Bought a cheap 15 quid pre wilkinson Vintage from a mate. That had done the rounds between friends, wasn't in the best of condition and was filthy, so i named it after a girlfriend it reminded me of haha."

Added the cool speed strips myself.

Not actually mine but very very close - my Dad 'helped' me make my first, a copy of the Vox tear drop as used by Bill Wyman circa '63/4

Short scale (30" scale) Hohner Baron Bass in black. Horrible 2 + 2 BBOT bridge and really skinny tuners. I started sanding it back to the wood one summer and hit chipboard…. Says it all really.

Gigged it quite a lot though way back when.

The bass on the left. It's the only photo I can find and it's with a cheap as chips "Crafter" bass that had faulty electronics and a neck that was easily the chunkiest thing I've ever used. Both sounded absolutely awful. Black one felt quite nice to play if I remember right (it was only 4 and a half years ago)

Here's mine:

A heavily butchered Burns Sonic bought second hand in 1981. I still own it and it gets used in the studio from time to time.

I was born in 74 :P

I don't think I've got a picture if my first bass :(

It was a cheap, non branded, blue Jazz type bass.

Sticker covered Squier Affinity Precision, I'll have had it thirteen years in about two months.

1985 or thereabouts. Columbus jazz bought from bassist in school band I was in briefly (as a singer - ha, laughable!) for £30. Can you spot the really tasteful and hardly noticeable mod he'd done? :D

My very first bass was actually the one I bought for my daughter, and absolutely not what I would have chosen.

This what I replaced it with:

A new 1963 RI from Macari's. It took me a VERY long time to realise that I am fundamentally a Precision guy.

This isn't my actual bass, but mine's identical. A '64 Höfner Artist II, bought from my metalwork teacher for £20 in 1982.

My second bass was a Columbus Jazz, just like Kev's but without the P pickup.
