Previous owner told me etc... that type of comment always sounds like a disclaimer to me. Unlacquered decal, cant guarantee neck is genuine? Corona neckplate (available on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Corona-Neck-Plate-/271522053732?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f37f9be64). I found the previous link via the precision sellers feedback. So, he has bought something there recently. Same goes for Bobsguitars49 (also found via his feedback) they sell guitar decals.
