I put my bitsa P up for sale on a local bass players f/b page and got offered this as a straight swap. to be honest i couldnt get the mrs to drive away fast enough!! to my eyes this is a thing of beauty, maple top, esp active pups ahhhh it sounds awesome. it is a keeper!

Very nice, sounds like a good deal too! What are the pickups like, modern sounding or more"old school"?

I've been looking at these only because I'm a massive fan of the guitars. There was a really nice one of thomann which I was tempted by:

So far ive only had it through headphones but its got a lovely range of tones and the neck is a cracker, not far off my Ibanez in shape and feel, got another week to wait before i can get it put through my new amp.
