White Cloud Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Stumbled across these guys.....best Rush tribute I have seen (plus a Geddy/Peart hybrid!) http://youtu.be/8UuucKOhR1Y Quote
xilddx Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Does he have a quick crack on the helium balloon before each number? Really bloody good aren't they. Quote
KevB Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Will be interesting to see them live if they hit the road in the UK, looks a bit odd with the lead vox coming from drummer for Rush material. Bravado are still a pretty decent Rush trib for UK punters. Quote
spectoremg Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 It would be even odder if that bass player spouted Geddy's voice! Lovely to hear Subdivisions again. Quote
Geddys nose Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 They are good they sound great, Fred Barchetta have a better singer I think ( the great Uriah Duffy on bass) really amazing . http://youtu.be/HodK8zn7xz4 Quote
dadofsix Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Man! Not at all what I expected. I just don't know how he hits those vocal notes while sitting down. As a former lead vocalist, I know how important it is to get a good "lungful of air" before hitting the high notes. Other drummers that sing do it. But he's just not doing it. The singer in me wants to doff my cap and say, "well done." The cynic in me, who has been singing for many, many, years, suspects that he is "singing" to a pre-recorded vocal track. If the cynic in me is wrong, then, in that event, the hat gets doffed to a resounding "well done!" <><Peace Quote
blue Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 I play several classic basses, I think I have most. However I do not have a Ric, if and when I buy one I want that model and color. That RIC is the "bees knees". Blue Quote
Huge Hands Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 From the title, I thought this was going to be a thread about fabled fantastic blokes who "know how to treat a woman", putting all of us mysogynistic old farts to shame..... Quote
Conan Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Pretty damned good and very authentic sounding! I actually prefer that guy's voice to Geddy's!! Quote
dadofsix Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I'm not sure it's not Geddy's voice. It's just eerie. Quote
lonestar Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Really good But why are they dressed like Devo without their hats ? Quote

wateroftyne Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Good stuff... Singer is great. I don't think he's singing to a prerecord, Not sure he could handle any earlier stuff, though..! Quote
