It looks very dark in the pictures, is that a fair representation of the colour, or just the camera?

I'm looking for a burgundy mist reissue, but burgundy mist like the Fender shade?

Many thanks in advance.

Hey Rick,

Looking at the Fender CS colour, it's definitely darker. It has a nice, aged darkness to it though.

The pics on Mark's site are the best representation!

Actually Rick, the shade's very close to the BM on this CS Tele http://www.chicagomusicexchange.com/products/fender-custom-shop-60-telecaster-custom-deluxe-burgundy-mist-metallic

This is the bass mine was modelled on. I asked for exactly the same spec, just in Sea Foam.
Good luck with the sale Alex.
Cheers,
Karl.

Thanks Karl, I'm gutted to have to move it on :( They're beautiful and fantastically crafted basses, and I know I'll regret it...

A non aged one looks really nice but the colour mark gets is probably more like a 50 year old instrument
