BassBus Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Looks to me like a Series 4000. It has the composite body. The controls have been altered as the big white switch is not standard Status. Nor was the little switch on these basses. Quote
Stance Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 Any idea how much should I pay for it in this condition? Thank you Quote
BassBus Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) Well, a series 5000 went on ebay for £505 lately. That was in very good condition. As this has butchered electronics maybe start with a cheeky offer of £250 with that in mind. Not sure I would pay more than £300-350. However, it is up to you and the seller. I can't make a firm judgement from a few pictures. Caveat emptor. Edited February 8, 2015 by BassBus Quote
Roger2611 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Yeah, I also think it is a series 4000 bass, I sold a tatty but standard series 3000 ( same bass but with a wood finish) for £425.00 last year with original hard case and a new set of strings Quote
