What Status model is this?

Can anyone help me find which model is this Status - all I now is that the electronics are not orignal.

Looks to me like a Series 4000. It has the composite body. The controls have been altered as the big white switch is not standard Status. Nor was the little switch on these basses.

Any idea how much should I pay for it in this condition?

Well, a series 5000 went on ebay for £505 lately. That was in very good condition. As this has butchered electronics maybe start with a cheeky offer of £250 with that in mind. Not sure I would pay more than £300-350. However, it is up to you and the seller. I can't make a firm judgement from a few pictures. Caveat emptor.

Yeah, I also think it is a series 4000 bass, I sold a tatty but standard series 3000 ( same bass but with a wood finish) for £425.00 last year with original hard case and a new set of strings
