Telebass Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Had this combo for years as main, then standby, now it's back to main, with my LMIII transplanted in. Has anyone used one with the the matching Traveler 121H? Seems to me that the tall vertical stack would be a good sound, but would appreciate any experience before renewing my quest for one. Quote
badboy1984 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I personally think their matching 1x12 cab is a good one to go with your combo. That combo is loud as hell on its own, with another 1x12 cab it would be good, light weight and easy transport. Quote
xzodar Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I have this exact rig and am very pleased with either the combo on its own or using the extension cab. Having the top speaker that much higher and closer to your ears is definitely good. I usually have the horn on the lower speaker off. Quote
Lozz196 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Not exactly the same but I had the CMD121P and matching NY121 - a cracking rig, so if you`re happy with the 121H, getting the matching cab I can only guess will make you smile loads. Quote
molan Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 We had one on demo in the store for a while. Worked pretty well and brought the combo up to a nice hight for control access but also for on-stage monitoring The horn on the cab has an attenuator so you can dial that out or down a bit if the pair of horns is too bright for you. JTUK Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Not a real fan of this combo but if you are, then add the matching cab and you'll get double the goodies on tap.. hopefully it will be more than the sum of two parts. Quote

Opticaleye Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I use a NY121 with my TRV121H. With my LM2 it's a great combination. Quote
mrn1989 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I built my own NY121 without the horn to go with my CMD121H and its perfect, and shifts some serious air Quote
