onehappybunny Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 (edited) As the title says... I've decided to sell my beloved Mark Bass Jeff Berlin combo. It's a really, really great combo as reviews on Harmony Central will confirm: Jeff Berlin combo reviews It's lightweight, powerful and sounds great at low or high volume - in fact it's the perfect 'do it all' combo. Reason for selling is that I've [s]lost my marbles[/s] decided to go for an all tube head (sublime to the ridiculous!!) as I've always wanted one. In a perfect world I would keep this as well, but can't justify it to HWMBO Price-wise these are going for £890 at Thomann. This one is in excellent condition, so I was thinking [s]£675 o.n.o.[/s] - now reduced to [s]£625[/s] NOW ONLY £600 (no trades thanks) I will be away on holiday from Friday 15th Aug, and back on Sunday 31st August. Will try to post photos before I go and will answer any p.m.'s in the order they arrive. The first committed 'I'll have it' will win I'm based in Surrey, work in Reading and may be able to meet up dependent on distance. Anyway let me know if any interest. Thanks folks Stu Edited October 12, 2008 by onehappybunny
onehappybunny Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 Bump for photo (apols it's a bit wonky... photo not the amp ): Please ping me any offers and I'll reply when back from hols. Appreciate that it's a difficult time for selling so realistic offers welcomed. Cheers Stu
onehappybunny Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 A "back from holiday final price reduction" bump to £625 - come on folks it's a steal! Cheers Stu
Monz Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Have a bump on me... Guys if you've never played through one of these you owe it to yourself to try one, the best sounding combo MarkBass make. Window shattering bass and you can carry it in one hand with your bass in the other (really)
Alastair Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) Considering you can get a used LMII for about 380, 625 for an MB head and cab is pretty darn good! Have a free mini bump. Edited September 2, 2008 by Alastair
onehappybunny Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 Thanks for the comments Monz & Alistair - it's a great combo for sure and hopefully will be a good deal for a happy basschat'er
simon1964 Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Good price for a great piece of kit. Have a bump on me!
onehappybunny Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008
You have a PM
Replied - sorry no trades, so still available
onehappybunny Posted September 9, 2008 Author Posted September 9, 2008 Bump for realistic offers (cash no trades)
onehappybunny Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 Bumparooney If it doesn't sell beforehand, this amp will be with me at the South East Bass bash in Guildford on 27th Sept if you want to check out how great it is... er... and (preferably) buy it
onehappybunny Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Umm... quiet here, isn't it Must admit, thought this would get snapped up as it's a great price of kit and significant discount on new price, but sign o' the times I guess. I've started to get sellers remorse, and thinking about keeping it, but £600 would get me to change my mind
onehappybunny Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 didn't expect to see any tumbleweed at this quality and price
ZMech Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 have an 'I wish I weren't about to become a student and therefore am unable to afford this' bump.
onehappybunny Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008
have an 'I wish I weren't about to become a student and therefore am unable to afford this' bump.
thanks for the bump Zach - all good things come to those who wait (...erm....job, mortgage etc.) so enjoy the student mullarky while it lasts
onehappybunny Posted September 24, 2008 Author Posted September 24, 2008 Several people interested but just waiting on concrete offer If you're looking for powerful, lightweight, high-quality combo you can't go wrong
onehappybunny Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 Partial trade considered for high end cab (Schroeder or equiv.)
Raslee Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008
Partial trade considered for high end cab (Schroeder or equiv.)
Was postage an option??? Am in negotiations with the wife....bloody hard work! but will be intouch.
onehappybunny Posted September 28, 2008 Author Posted September 28, 2008 Thanks Rasta for your interest. Would prefer collection if possible, or I could drive about an hour from Surrey or Reading. That said, if postage were only option it would be at buyers cost using courier of their choice. I would package it up well, but for my own peace of mind I'd suggest insured coverage to protect against clumsy delivery people
barneyg42 Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Plugged my Jaydee Fretless into this at the Bass Bash.......oh yes what a sound! Couldn't believe the volume from the little bugger, even with all the other rigs being caned at the same time it just kicked ass. Buy this combo you won't regret it! Or else don't sell it onehappybunny you will regret it!!
