iv decided that in my major cutdown of effects gear that this is the latest pedal to get the chop. It is a fantastic unit, which creates lovely valve tones and crunch and with the 3 band eq with mid Q control its very versitle

read my full review of it here, as well as a picture:

basically selling as i think im moving more towards solid state sounds again (i used this as an always on preamp rather than an effect), and i don't use it for the high gain sounds it can produce.

At the moment it is loaded with the Mullard 12ax7 tube in good condition, plenty of life left in it, im sure you all know about this probably being the best 12ax7 ever made, and can only be bought on ebay for £20+. il also include with the sale the orignal electro harmonix 12ax7 that came standard with the pedal.

I think dave sells these £145 new, so my price will be [s]£120 shipped[/s] Now £110 shipped including BOTH valves. if you dont want the mullard (for whatever crazy reason :huh:) and are happy with just the electro harmonix tube, i will sell for [s]£110 shipped[/s] now £100 shipped
very much interested in trades, something synthy or a high end fuzz i would be interested in, certainly nothing subtle :)

let me know

Oh well, I tried...Sansamp is the closes thing to a valve driven pre that i got.

Best of luck with the sale/swap.

i talked about it in the review

its a lower gain sound than the EH, sounds far better than the eh imo, bottom end is very well defined, and its not as sparkly as the eh is, which is definatly a plus from me. the valve just has more character and every note rings crystal clear basically the best way i can describe the difference is that the EH just sounds 'cheap' next to the mullard. turning up the gain it goes into a valve distortion quite nicely, thats how im currently using it now, but i dont really need that sound, hence the sale

the mullard valve supplied with it cost me £23 on top of that, which means i spent £143 for it, and the pedal is in the same condition as it was when it left dave hall, mint. considering that im selling for £25 less than dave hall does new, without a 3 week waiting time, and the best ax7 preamp valve you can buy, id say it was a great price

please pm me with any more price queries next time :)

bump, had some interest but nothing solid yet

price drop to £110 shipped including both valves and the power supply, or £100 without the Mullard, i will NOT go any lower than this
