'Ampeg' replica straightback 8x10 Bass Cab - SOLD £250

Hi all,

Moving on my replica of an Ampeg straightback 810 cab. I got this last year from a guy who built it based on the specs of a 'straightback' 8x10 he used to own. 4 ohms and I believe they're Eminence 150 watt speakers in there. Looks great with a classic Fender grill cloth and a Western Flowery type tolex that covers it. Both the grill and tolex are in great condition. Comes with two heavy duty handles, skids on the back and wheels which makes moving this thing pretty easy.

Reason for selling? It sounds huge [and is huge] so for the amount of practices and gigs I've played lately, it's overkill. Built very solidly and shakes the Earth when required!

Not looking to move on the price really - this is what I paid for it, which I think it a bit of a steal, especially for as it kills other 8x10's I've played. Not after any trades either thanks.

I can't believe I'm even asking this, but how heavy is it?

Pass. It's heavy though. Saying that, as I mentioned before, it's easy enough to bod around the house and is a one-man move on flat surfaces.

Forgot to mention, it has a spring loaded handle on the bottom so can be dragged out of vans. cars, carted up stairs etc, which makes things easier.
