azumi Posted June 9, 2016 Author Posted June 9, 2016 @dood - I have a 51 PB which has a big chunky neck and an American standard which has a slimmer neck - I would say the neck of the 54 is between these 2 basses.

[/quote] That's interesting information thank you!! I think I'm looking for a great big chunky Maple neck bass in the near future, though budget is a bit non-existent right now - isn't it always!!!
