Japanese 70s "bitsa" Jazz - Now sold
£150

One "bitsa" 70s Jazz bass - Now sold.

The good bits:
Genuine road-wear, looks great, blocks n maple, mmmmm
Wizard Pickups
Gotoh Reverse Tuners
Very resonant
Ideal back-up
Funky "complete fake" decal

The not-so good bits:
As its a bitsa there`s an approx 1mm gap around the neck pocket - as said, very resonant anyway so doesn`t affect sound
One of the screws for the bridge has ground off - the middle one of 5 - doesn`t affect the bridge fixing, or the tension on the bridge (plenty of basses only have 3 screws on the bridge anyway, this has 4)
Being a bitsa the action is not particularly low - the neck would need packing to get real low action

So £135 for this rather nice bass, delivered to your door within the UK. Happy with paypal (but no fees) bank transfer or cash.

No trades thanks.

Nice. What's the weight like Lozz?

It`s not too heavy Dave, but not a lightweight either. I`ve not got any scales but in comparison to my 2008 Precision, which I know is about 8.8lbs, it feels a bit heavier so I`d put it at 9.3lbs at a guess.

Yeah that`s about right. It feels nice and easy on the shoulder compared to the 78, that`s for sure :D

I`m not sure, have just looked at the original ad for when I bought it and all content has gone. Not that the original seller is pulling a fast one, I`ve dealt with him before and all was well above board.

If I wasn't moving house and there was no three bass rule, I'd be mentioning encroaching birthdays... Sorry :(
