Despite our regular rehearsals, I messed up in the first bar of the first song. As we play originals, only the band noticed! It's great innit - I used to play about 4 gigs a year 20 years ago, retired for 15 years then got back into playing and now doing about 45/50 gigs a year and loving every one of them with no nerves whatsoever! We're still just messing about at the local open mic each week (honing our craft, I think it's called... ), but are angling for a spot at a local festival some time during the Summer for my first "proper" gig. [/quote] A Festy sounds like the way to go, Tony M. Our drummist has some Go-pro footage of the set. There are "..a few jazz.chords.." apparently. I think he means busking bass lines....
