Happy Jack
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/scarce-Vester-5-string-Bass-Guitar-excellent-condition-/291380500551?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43d7a19847 Mind you, Scarce Vester would make an excellent name for a bad guy in a Victorian drama ... Mykesbass
Aw, it reverts to being common or garden "rare" in the description ☹
tauzero
Buy it and then make a claim that it's not advertised - title says it's a 5-string but it's only got three. I don't think I've ever seen a 5-string version of that bass before. The 4-string ones don't exactly grow on trees. I had a defretted 4-string which I sold when I got a real Thumb to have defretted, it was not a bad bass at all.
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
I have the 4 string ,fretless version of this."Plays like a knife, through butter." If times weren't so hard, I would be the winning bidder.
Drax
What is it with people selling basses with several missing strings? There was another one a few days ago. Doesn't fill you with confidence on the rest of it.
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Yeah, I've noticed that myself . Maybe the sellers are a bit highly strung?
tauzero
They took "no strings attached" too literally?
