JCB
Butterscotch? Looks more like Off-White Blonde or even Vintage White in the photos...? :-/ Can you see the grain? I didn't think the CIJ basses came in Butterscotch, so if you can see the grain maybe OWB, otherwise I'd guess VWH? Having said that, I thought the OWB was only available on the '75RI, not the '62RI. Mind you, they don't usually come with matching headstocks either... Nice though, either way GLWTS Edited February 20, 2015 by JCB
richardd
The photo's came out very light, the color is defo Butterscotch, solid color cannot see the grain .don't like to use the word custard but as near as,will try to get a better pic up. :)Try as I might I cannot get a true color pic.a bit lighter than I may be wrong on the Butterscotch. anyone help out here Edited February 20, 2015 by richardd

bubinga5
this is a Fender CIJ Non Export 62 Jazz. custom shop Fender pups depending on the year, or just the great Fender USA pups. Fender CIJ or MIJ never made a jazz bass in butterscotch, unless ordered as a custom order from Japan, and if so, its imported, and is very very rare.. this is an off white cream 62 RI non export Jazz bass without doubt. although i recently lost love for Fender these NON exports are great. P-T-P
Assuming its correct, this may help... https://japanfender....ls/color-chart/ Is it like the last colour YWH? Also, it wouldn't take much for Olympic White to go from creamy to custardy. Edited February 21, 2015 by P-T-P
JCB
Found these two old posts which look like similar basses. Are these pics closer to the real colour?
