AndyTravis Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 There seems to be a few of us manchester folk on here, but no bash?! What gives? Can I use this to gauge interest and then MB1 and I can organise one (sorry Martin). Also, include the area of Manchester so we know where to book? Quote

Dazed Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Will keep an eye on this with interest. Quote
Cameronj279 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Depending on funds I may make it along. I do quite like Manchester Quote
colleya Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Would be up for this if I can sort babysitting! Blueprint studios is a nice central place with good facilities. Quote
AndyTravis Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 So central Manchester would be good? Quote
Dazed Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Not fussed on central. Some where with easy parking would help with moving gear etc. That's better personally than being in "town" Quote
Bassman Sam Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I'm up for this. Central Manchester would be good for me but willing to travel further. Any dates in mind? Quote
AndyTravis Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 No, I drank a lot of wine last night. Was one of those 'surprises' you set yourself up for if you were drunk online the previous night. I think we should though. Quote

colleya Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) No problem with going further out either. Blueprint has good free parking after 6 on weeknights, not sure about weekends. It's also close to Victoria for train & tram and there's a pub across the road. As far as my experience of rehearsal rooms go, it's very nice - as our singer said "it's even got girls' toilets!". It was just the first place that came to mind when I saw 'Manchester'. There are however a few of the dreaded stairs! *hides* Edited February 21, 2015 by colleya Quote

Iain Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I'd be up for a meet depending on when and where. Quote
lurksalot Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I could mosey along if the dates work out Quote
AndyTravis Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Well I'm in the midst of completing a diploma, so my time is goosed as I started 2 months behind my learning group so I'm constantly playing catchup, and our own MB1 is tied up in a new job meaning his shift patterns are up the wall. Anyone up for carrying the organisers torch? I'll gladly join in etc, just don't want to make a hash of organising it. Quote
AndyTravis Posted February 23, 2015 Author Posted February 23, 2015
Well that killed it!
I know, think MB1 was the realist... I've not got the time if I'm honest with myself. Quote
paul_5 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 OK, what dates would be preferable to everyone? Not sure how far I can take this, but I'd like this to happen. What day / evening would everyone prefer? Quote
Lord Sausage Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I'd show up, depending on date etc. Surely a weekend would be best! Quote
